BCS promotes the importance of e-safety amongst students

We’ve been working with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, to promote their new Education Hub and digital learning section of the website. The focus is on digital literacy and e-safety and we are supporting BCS with a social media campaign to help engage teachers.

As part of the campaign we’ve commissioned content from leading experts including Simon Finch from Digitally Confident and Emma Robertson co-founder of Digital Awareness UK. Teachers are also involved and Matt Hunt, Assistant Head at Wyvern Academy and Laura Pearce, ICT teacher at St Luke’s Science and Sports College have also contributed articles on e-safety and digital literacy.

The campaign is running during February and coincides with Safer Internet Day. Use #bcseducation to get involved.
