Finito: Profile raising campaign
The background
Launched in 2016, Finito helps to bridge the gap between education and the world of work. The company offers one-to-one mentoring, coaching and guidance for young people who are leaving education and starting their careers. They also provide support for those wanting to change careers.
The brief
Finito approached us to help raise the profile of their work through a media relations campaign. Following a strategy and planning session, we identified real potential for the company to demonstrate their expertise in a number of areas linked to graduate recruitment, higher education and skills.
Our approach
We developed a range of angles, including recruitment and AI, social media and job-hunting, and HE and student destinations. Using these angles, we reached out to journalists to discuss opportunities for expert comment and opinion. We also monitored the news agenda to identify opportunities for comment.
The results
The results have been excellent. Since April, we have secured a steady stream of high quality coverage, including:
So far, our work has resulted in more than 13 pieces of good quality coverage with an overall digital reach of 33 million and print reach of 4.2 million. The coverage has also prompted other media enquiries and lots of discussion on social media. Our work has helped to boost Finito’s profile with journalists and the CEO and Founder, Ronel Lehmann is now regularly approached for comment.
